Meet the founder

Knowledge Grove Foundation was founded by children's author and literacy advocate Sheressa Jackson to help families experience reading as connection, not another obligation.
The work is rooted in a simple idea: children grow as readers when the adults around them feel welcomed into the process. Books matter, but the conversations, confidence, and shared memories around those books matter too.
